Here's a little mid-week topical humor for you: Daniel D discusses the controversy over Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.
Was this a real slap? Or were Smith and Rock (hey, that sounds like a good name for a law firm!) re-enacting the infamous slapping of comedian Andy Kaufman by professional wrestler Jerry "the King" Lawler in 1982 (coincidentally enough, the very same year that Uncle Rico, of Napoleon Dynamite fame, saw his promising football career begin to fall apart)?
Obviously, with the world on the cusp of a possible nuclear war, our focus needs to be on figuring out just what happened at the Academy Awards between Will Smith and Chris Rock. Forget about Putin and Zelensky and Geriatric Joe Biden, we need to focus on the epic conflict between these two American celebrities!
